What’s in your share?

  • Butternut Squash

  • Kale

  • Oneida Gold Potatoes

  • Red and Yellow Storage Onions

  • Shallots

  • Carrots

  • Cabbage

  • Herbs de la Farm *

*Herbs de la Farm - These dried herbs were grown and tended on our land by our friend, Jenny, who is passionate about herbs and their culinary and medicinal qualities. Many of the herb bunches that you got in your shares this season were bunched by Jenny. This blend is super versatile and can be used in soups, sauces, or pastas.

‘Twas the night before Thanksgiving

And out of the field

Came a surprisingly

Bountiful yield

Our season’s now over

We’re putting the field to bed

For everything’s frozen

And borderline dead

Just kidding about everything being dead (the lettuce did get pretty damaged by those two cold days in a row, which is why it’s not in the share) but we’re ready for the off season and we think the land is, too.

Thank you all for sticking around for another month. This November Share was admittedly experimental, and we are flattered that y’all took a leap of faith with us. We couldn’t have had better weather, and to that we’re very thankful. This is surely the end of the season; the food we have left is set aside for our household of 7 hungry adults, and we’re already starting to plan for 2023.

Thanks for a great season, we hope to see you next year!

Super sweet carrots came out of the tunnel yesterday!

Tis the season for spending more time eating and drinking and cooking and sleeping.

Got these cabbages out of the field right before we have below freezing temps for a few days in a row! They are the best!!!
